Soweto is the biggest conglomeration of townships located in the South Western suburbs of Johannesburg, South Africa. The past residents of Soweto include Dr. Nelson Mandela whose Orlando home has become a major tourist attraction.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu the cleric and activist, who rose to world fame for his work against apartheid, had a home here. What is remarkable is that these two Nobel Laureates lived on the same street.
